From Dadar to Virar, four new services will run, and from Virar to Churchgate, one will run. From Borivali to Churchgate, one will run, and from Churchgate to Andheri, three will run, and from Churchgate to Goregaon, one will run.
The Western Railway (WR) Mumbai division will increase the number of services every day from 1,394 to 1,406 with the introduction of 12 new trains from October 1. Another senior railway official has announced that ten existing services will be extended from 12-car to 15-car rakes.

The Indian Railways are required by the Railway Board to conduct an annual update of their timetables in October. This year, the focus will be on updating suburban services, while alterations to long-distance trains will be postponed until January in order to minimize inconveniences for customers.
A rake has been transferred from the CSMT-Borivali Harbour route to the Churchgate-Virar line, which is a major alteration. Four of the twelve new services will run between Dadar and Virar, one from Virar to Churchgate, one from Borivali to Churchgate, two from Churchgate to Andheri, three from Churchgate to Goregaon, and one from Churchgate to Nalasopara. On top of that, three services will be added in each direction, for a total of six, and sixteen services will undergo operational adjustments, including certain trains going from slow to rapid.
Among the most important alterations is the relocation of a rake from the CSMT-Borivali Harbour line to the Churchgate-Virar line.
