The idea was inspired by Rotary President Rtn. Jennifer E Jones, who quoted “I believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion begin at the top and for us to realise growth in female membership.” Every day, we strive to do good in society. We wish to entire a society that is gender-equal and not unfair to anyone living in it. As feminists of today, we are constantly failing to reach this ideal society. Despite our successes and victories, we still are not perfect.

Failure is what motivates us to do better. This was our vision behind the name of the event.
By calling it The Failing Feminist, we aim to reach a society which is much more tolerant of all genders and treats everyone equally. There were several events planned under the same, Which included a podcast, a blog, and an award ceremony felicitating women who were excelling in their respective fields.
