- Vermicelli/Roasted Vermicelli
- Vegetables (of your choice – Broccoli, Capsicum, Onion, Cabbage, Carrot)
- Sauces – Soy Sauce, Chili Sauce, Tomato Sauce
Take Roasted Vermicelli in accordance to your measurement. Roasted Vermicelli is easily available in the market but if you dont have it, you can easily roast it at home. For roasting, take a pan. Add a tablespoon of Ghee. On a medium flame, add vermicelli of measurement and roast it for 2 to 3 minutes.
Take a container full of water and heat it until it boils. Now, add the roasted vermicelli into the boiling water and boil it for around 3 minutes. After boiling, strain and sperate the vermicelli into a sieve (chalani) and was it with cold water.
Take a pan. Add a Teaspoon Oil. Add chopped vegetables of your choice – Capsicum, onion, broccoli, cabbage etc. Add salt and black pepper in accordance to your taste and MIX well to saute the veggies.
Add 1 teaspoon Vinegar and soy sauce. And 1 and 1/2 teaspoon Chili and Tomato Sauce. Now add the vermicelli and mix well and well for about a minute on medium flame.
TaaDaa! Your vermicelli upma is now ready to have all its way from the pan into your stomach! Serve it into your best bowls and let your family taste the magic of your hands.
