Videos of a Khalistan supporter pulling down the Indian flag at the High Commission in London surfaced online last evening. India, on Sunday night, reflected their outrage at the unexpected occurrence and urged the arrest of the Khalistan people engaged in the tricolor incident.
India also demanded an explanation for the absence of security which offered this happening at the High Commission. Sheer lack of safety led to the Khalistan people entering the premise of the High commission.
The disrespect for the National flag made every Indian’s blood boil. The Sikh community came forward to protest outside the UK High Commission in Delhi. Even after being restricted by the Delhi police from entering the UK High Commission premise, the Sikh community were firmly stuck in their protest with banners and the National flag of the country held high.
Slogans like “Bharat Humara Swabhiman Hai” and “Bharat Mata ki Jai” were lifted during the protest.
The foreign ministry summoned the senior diplomat of UK in New Delhi. The Ministry wrote in a statement, “It is expected that the UK Government would take immediate steps to identify, arrest and prosecute each one of those involved in today’s incident, and put in place stringent measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.”
Today morning Indian High Commission responded with a gigantic flag displayed on the Indian High Commission building in London. Social media erupted in cheers and netizens applauded the reply as they expressed it beautifully. In no time these images went viral all over the internet.
