Who was Sidhu Moose Wala?

SUBHDEEP SINGH SIDHU from Moosa village in Mansa district picked his stage name after his belonging and attachment towards his home village. He started his musical journey in Canada in 2016. Sidhu has released three albums and more than 60 singles becoming a popular name in the music and hip hop industry. Sidhu took Punjabi hip hop to the next level.

The Punjabi Hip Hop artist singer, song writer and actor Sidhu Moosewala was passing by the streets of his own village in his black mahindra thar was stopped by few unknown men. Saw Sidhu without any security started firing with full loaded guns and magazine. Sidhu was left with bullets piercing through his head face and chest . The Hip hop king of Punjab and India was shot down in a broad day light.

Soon after the word spread across the nation, to fulfil many void answers like ‘who was behind this incident?’
Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar took full responsibility behind this act.

However, Sidhu was also a controversial figure because the singer has an affinity for his weapons arms and ammo which he would showcase in his music videos and blamed for promoting violence and grudges amongst youth. The singer also had police registered FIR against him for promoting gun violence in Punjab.

While his career was on the peak. Sidhu was solely praised by many world artists and infamous personalities.

Drake paid a special tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala as he wore a T-shirt with his portrait printed on it for a concert in Canada. His T-shirt also featured the name of the late Punjabi artist. “Sidhu Moose Wala 1993-2022,” it read.

On his one year death anniversary, his mother Charan Kaur broke down into tears, soon after reaching the village to attend the prayers in memory of her son, She broke down and touched the ground where her son was shot dead got emotional.
Langar and chabeel (service to serve sweet water) were also organised in memory of the slain singer.

May 29, 2023 marks the first death anniversary of Punjabi singer and icon Sidhu Moosewala, who was shot dead in his hometown by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang last year. His death is still being mourned by all, including his fiancée Amandeep Kaur.

Sidhu Moosewala was one of the most influential potentialized dPunjabi singers and was at the peak of his career when he was shot dead as a result of an inter-gang war and  rivalry. He was killed in the Mansa district of Punjab India , just a few months after he had joined the Congress party and contested the elections and started his political career.

Sidhu Moosewala’s parents and fans were left devastated by his sudden loss, but another person who was shaken up was his fiancée Amandeep Kaur. Moosewala and Kaur had  gotten engaged just a few months ago and were planning to get married in November of 2022.

Sidhu Moosewala and Amandeep Kaur had  been in a romantic relationship for two years and were planning on getting married soon, as revealed by the Punjabi singer’s mother shortly after his death.

Who is Amandeep Kaur, Sidhu Moosewala’s fiance?

Amandeep Kaur was the fiantcée of Punjabi youth icon Sidhu Moosewala and the two had just gotten engaged just a few months back before his death. The couple had met in Canada as Kaur was a permanent resident of the country, and were planning to get married the same year Moosewala was shot dead.

Amandeep Kaur, according to rumours, is the daughter of a senior Akali Dal leader and also worked as Sidhu Moosewala’s assistant for a few months. She belongs to the Sangreri district of Punjab, where the engagement ceremony had taken place,According to sources , Amandeep Kaur was absolutely shocked after Sidhu Moosewala’s death she was left with pain and grief  soon after the period of time she vowed to never get married as a way to express her eternal love for her late fiance . Reports say that she now lives with Moosewala’s motehr and father in the Mansa village, at his hometown.
