We all love to watch movies on different occasions of our lives. In Indian households, people watch and enjoy the movies by watching it with their families. Movies in India are known for uniting many families.
Movies work as a time killer for many of us, while they work as the means to bring people together for some of us out there. We have been watching movies since our childhood and have created many beautiful memories because of those same movies.
However, things get to change if we watch a particular movie again and again, we tend to get bored or annoyed but if the film is of our favorite actor, we bare the suffering of boredom and force others to suffer with us by making them watch the particular movie again and again.
On Wednesday, same thing happened because of the continuous airing of the Amitab Bachchan’s film “Sooryavansham” released in 1999. One viewer had it enough, he got extremely fed up with the movie and decided to write a letter to the TV channel who screened it almost every Sunday.
This news might not be the good news for Amitab Bachchan’s fans. The letter went viral on social media really quickly and sparked a meme fest.
The viewer who sent the letter to the TV channel did not disclose his any personal information. The letter he sent, read, “It is a humble request that your channel has got the contract for telecasting feature film Sooryavansham, by your grace we and our family have come to know Heera Thakur and her family (Radha, Gauri and others) very well, we are going to watch the film called Sooryavansham Watching extra innings has been memorized,
I want to know from your channel that how many times your channel has telecasted this movie till now? How many more times will this film be telecast in future? If its adverse effect (madness) comes on our mental state, then who will be responsible for it? Kindly inform me”.
The letter was posted to the Mumbai office of the private channel with a query, which the sender said he hoped to receive a reply to under the Right to Information Act, 2005.
Nitizens are loving the move made by the man. The man has come out as the life saver for many of us, who hate TV channels for repeated screening of the same particular movie.
