The great hindu mythology epics Ramayana and Mahabharata happened in different eras (yugas) and are separated by at least a gap of few thousand years. Yet, there are a few crossover incidents that follows between the two mythologys. The one about Bheema from Mahabharata meeting Lord Hanuman.
Similarly, there’s another meeting between two gods from the two different ages. This one is between The Lord Krishna and Hanuman. Ramayana happened in Treta Yuga. But Hanuman remained on earth because of him being immortal. Hence, he was present in the following Yuga as well. Called Dwapar Yuga, this is the era where Mahabharata took place.
On this day at this occasion of Ram Navmi every year, Hanuman ji , while impersonating lord Ram a worldly man , organizes a feast for Rama’s devotees and priests in Ayodhya every year .
By seeing hanuman devoted his life for lord rama Krishna and Narada decide to impersonate as an ordinary priests to gather for the Ram Navami feast at Ayodhya . They sat with the rest of the devotees while Hanuman serves each one of them with love. Just then, Hanuman stops serving when he notices one among the other priests. Hanuman instantly notices and felt the presence of his lord through His lotus feets. Krishna is proven right, while Narada humbly accepts his defeat. Krishna reveals that the purpose of this visit was also to politely teach a lesson to Narada since the latter had started to show some arrogance by proclaiming himself as the greatest devotee of Krishna.
Meanwhile, Hanuman gets overwhelmed and emotional to see his Lord after ages, Hanuman bow down and stop for a moment before it get noticed by others hanuman wiped his tears and serve shree kirshna no he serve lord rama and narad both of them with all his love and affection.
