On 2nd September, college units of Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sena were opened by Yuvasena Secretary Varun Sardesai. The college units were opened during the college unit opening ceremony. Thakur college unit, Gokhale college unit and KES College unit were opened at Saturday’s college unit opening ceremony. Yuvasena office bearers and office bearers of Thakur college’s Kaksha unit were also present at the college unit opening ceremony along with Yuvasena Secretary College Kaksha Chief Varun Sardesai.
College unit opening ceremony of Thakur college’s unit commenced at 9:30 am after the arrival of Yuvasena Secretary Varun Sardesai. In an interview, Varun Sardesai informed about the event, he praised the office bearers of college unit and informed about reason behind the opening of Shiv Sena’s college unit.
“The main reason for the opening of college unit is to help the college students by solving their problems and concerns,” said Varun Sardesai. When asked about the upcoming Senate elections, Varun Sardesai was confident about Shiv Sena winning all 10 seats like the previous time. After attending the opening ceremony of Thakur college’s unit, Yuvasena Secretary Varun Sardesai left for Gokhale college for its college unit opening ceremony.
Varun Sardesai has been actively involved in the affairs of Yuva Sena for several years and has played a key role in the party’s election-related work. Varun Sardesai is known for his grassroots leadership, involvement in the party’s campaigning, and his contribution to the Sena’s aggressive social media strategy against political rivals. He is also close to Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray. Additionally, Varun Sardesai is recognized for his work in managing the party’s data and overseeing campaigns despite being targeted by the BJP.
