Nandita Das’s latest directorial film “Zwigato” stars Kapil Sharma as lead, Sahana Goswami, Tushar Acharya and Sayani Gupta. Released on 17th March it has grossed 2.4 Crores on the box office. It is a story focuses on portraying problematic chores that the delivery partners are burdened-on to claim bit chunks of incentives. The fil was also premiered at TIFF and Busan Film Festival. Kapil Sharma’s applaudable acting has stunned everyone! Being a comedian his genre is complete opposite of his role in the movie. Compared to his earlier film “Kis Kisko Pyar Karu” his acting skills are extremely improved and appreciable. Nandita Das has introduced a silent support that women provides as equal pillars of a simple family by caregiving, absorbing their partner’s stresses and also stepping out of the house to support the family financially.
Currently it has 3.9 overall rating. The audience is appraising Kapil Sharma for his outstanding performance while the storyline is quite an average. The shots are very raw which makes them more realistic. The dialogues are pretty decent and the color palette has brownish shades most often and the BGM adds the emotional touch very well. The movie critic call it a pretty average and slow film while the commoners call it quite relatable and the slow mundane moments showcases how a working class person battles and parallelly lives with complicated overarching issues of religion, class and caste. Also some says that the movie is a silent recognition and request to respect and empathize with an invisible working class that bears the burden of running our cities while simultaneously dealing with an ongoing employment crisis, inflation and social justice.
The movie consists of sensitive scenes displaying the harsh reality and exploitation which may touch your heart. The screenplay whereas is expected to be better. You can watch this film with family and is a good one time watch movie.
