Bageshwar Dham Baba aka Dhirendra Shastri has recently been in talks because of the way he attends the devotees in his ‘Divya Darbaar’. It’s seen that he miraculously, addresses the devotee’s problems and provides them with miraculous solutions. One of the main reasons for him being in controversy is that he did not fail to add fuel to the rising fire of the Hindu-Muslim difference.
Recently, Dhirendra was in Nagpur for a Ram Katha. Here, he did what he usually does, reading people’s minds and providing them with miraculous solutions and this is where Shyam Manav takes his entry.
So, Dhirendra Shastri visits Nagpur for Ram Katha and Shyam Manav gets to know about this. He did not have any problem with that, instead, he welcomed it. But later he found out that Dhirendra Shastri holds a ‘Divya Darbaar’ for his devotees and apparently will be performing magic to provide them the solutions. He investigated the videos of ‘Divya Darbaar’ available on the internet and found out that there were several illegalities being performed.
Shyam Manav even informed the police about the same and provided them with proof, asking them to take action against this. But the police took no action. Later on, Nagpur police even gave a clean chit to ‘Bageshwar Dham’ claiming that they have examined all the evidence and there is nothing against the ‘Black Magic’ act. So apart from informing the police, Shyam Manav even challenges Dhirendra Shastri. There were a total of two challenges. In the first challenge, there will be 10 people in a room and Dhirendra had to their names, father’s names, ages, and phone numbers. The second challenge was that Dhirendra had to predict 10 things kept in the room next door. If Dhirendra was able to answer these questions even with 90% accuracy, Shyam Manav claimed to reward him with 30 lakhs cash prize and if the Baba wins the challenge, Shyam Manav will bow down to his feet. Apologies and even disband his organization.
It was written on the poster that the event would last till 13th January but Dhirendra left on 11th January only. Shyam Manav called him a ‘deserter’. After this, Shyam Manav receives death threats saying that he will have the same fate as Narendra Dabholkar. He has been provided with security cover since then.
In Dhirendra Shastri’s defense, his cousin Lokesh Garg came forward and disclosed that even Dhirendra is receiving death threats. And Bageshwar Dham was given security as well.
In response, Dhirendra says that he did not flee. The Ram Katha was scheduled till 11th January only. And if Shyam Manav was so keen on giving him a challenge. He can do so in Raipur. “On 3rd January, I had mentioned that the event would last till 7 days only. It was the original schedule. So, I’d like to tell Shyam Manav Ji that if he wants to experience it he should visit the Darbar in Raipur or you can come to Bageshwar Dham.” says the Baba.
As an answer to this, Shyam Manav says,
“To ensure that no information reaches them, under the fraud and proof conditions we cannot create such an environment. This is why this challenge can take place effectively in Nagpur.”
There are two reasons for this. The police and the law and order situation in Maharashtra. Secondly, he claimed that Maharashtra’s Devendra Fadnavis had visited Baba’s program. So the Baba and The Home Minister already have cordial relations.
The Bageshwar Dham temple in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, is connected to the 26-year-old self-styled godman of the state. On July 4th, 1996, Dhirendra Krishna Garg was born. He later adopted the name Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. According to reports, his mother is Saroj Garg and his father is Karpal Garg. His paternal grandfather, Bhagwandas Garg, was a Siddh saint. Near the Hanuman temple, a court was held at the Nirmohi Akhara, which was connected to his grandfather. Later, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri began to hold divine court, which gained huge popularity.
He was in the news for the first time for his communal insightful speeches. In April, last year during his preaching in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar, he called out all Hindus to unite and run bull-dozers over the house of ‘stone-petlers’. As if these harsh statements were not enough, he also asked the ‘Hindus to unite and take up arms. It was quite obviously a communal speech aimed at disturbing public peace.
After being in the headlines for using coarse language while preaching, he was back in the news for allegedly practicing untouchability. It was seen in a video that when a devotee went on to touch his feet for seeking blessings, this was his reaction.
Later, the official Twitter handle of Bageshwar Dham explained that it was an edited video and by ‘เค เคเฅเคค’, Baba was addressing himself.
These are some of the topics which contribute to the latest issues involving Dhirendra Shastri. More details are awaited for the same.
