Akanksha Dubey, a Bhojpuri actress, passed away on March 26, 2023, in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. She was found dead in her hotel room, and the cause of death was reported to be suicide. Her untimely death was a shock to her fans and the film industry, and it is a tragic loss for her family and loved ones.
She was reportedly in Varanasi for the shoot of an upcoming project. After the filming, the actress headed to Sarnath Hotel there. Her body was found in her hotel room. While the police are investigating the shocking death, prima facie it is a case of suicide.
Akanksha Dubey was a Bhojpuri actress who was known for her work in Bhojpuri films and television shows. She started her career in the entertainment industry in 2018 with the Bhojpuri film “Saiyan Superstar” and went on to work in several other films like “Pyar Toh Hona Hi Tha” and “Majanua”, “Chalu Kar Genie Raja”, and “Kasam Durga Ki”.
Akansha Dubey was also a popular face on Bhojpuri television, having appeared in TV shows like “Gharwali Uparwali” and “Gandii Baat 7”. She had gained a significant following among Bhojpuri cinema fans for her acting skills and on-screen presence.
She fondly called the Bhojpuri film industry’s dream girl, came from Vindhyachal, Mirzapur. She later moved to Mumbai with her parents. Akanksha chose to pursue her dreams of being on the silver screen, while her parents wanted her to become an IPS officer.
Hours before she took her life Akanksha had shared a video of herself. She flaunted her belly dancing skills on the Bhojpuri song Hilore Mare.
