NRI (non-resident Indian) Day Pravasi Bharatiya Divas: Every year on January 9, we celebrate NRI Day, also known as Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, to honor the abroad Indian community’s contributions to India’s growth. What will happen, though, if someone is unable to deposit or exchange a Rs. 2000 note by September 30th was not made clear in the notice. Note that the Rs. 2000 note is still a valid form of payment.

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is said to have tested the ballistic rocket from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island. After three successful development tests, this was the first pre-induction night launch that the users carried out. This proved that the system was accurate and reliable. Digvijay Diwas: Digvijay Diwas is celebrated annually on September 11 to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s historic speech in Chicago. 9/11 Memorial Day: This year marks the 20th anniversary of National Day of Service and Remembrance, also known as 9/11 Day. In honor of those killed and injured on September 11, 2001, the day provides an opportunity to help others.
National Forest Martyrs Day: Because the date of September 11th has historical significance, it was chosen as National Forest Martyrs Day. On this day in 1730, over 360 members of the Bishnoi tribe led by Amrita Devi protested the felling of trees. They were killed on the orders of the king in Khejarli, Rajasthan, for their protest to save the trees.

On this day in 1949, the Indian Constitutional Assembly adopted Hindi written in Devanagari as the country’s official language. Hindi is one of the world’s most widely spoken languages. Bishan Singh Bedi, the esteemed former captain of the Indian cricket team and renowned spin bowler, has sadly passed away at the age of 77.
Bishan Singh Bedi, the renowned spinner and former captain of India, died on October 23. He was seventy-seven years old. Bedi, born in Amritsar in 1946, participated in 67 Test matches for India and achieved 266 wickets, including 14 instances of taking five wickets in an innings and one instance of taking ten wickets in a match. He was a member of the esteemed group of Indian cricket spinners known as the golden quartet, which also included Erapalli Prasanna, Bhagwat Chadrasekhar, and Srinivas Venkataraghavan. This quartet served as the central force of India’s bowling team for over a decade, from 1966 to 1978.

On November 15th of each year, the state of Jharkhand in India celebrates Jharkhand Foundation Day, which is also referred to as Jharkhand Day. Jharkhand was established as a separate state in the year 2000, when it was carved out of the southern part of Bihar to become an independent state. The “Anganwadi Protocol For Divyang Children” is introduced by the Union WCD Minister.
On November 28, 2023, at Vigyan Bhawan, the Anganwadi Protocol Divyang Children was inaugurated during a nationwide outreach campaign by Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, the Union Minister for Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs. Prominent figures, specialists, and interested parties from many ministries and organizations gathered for an event that sought to improve the general welfare of Divyang children. More than 8.3 million children are being monitored for growth and health referrals, 4.5 million children between the ages of 0 and 3 are receiving take-home interactions and home visits, and 4.37 million children are receiving food and early childhood care and education support, according to Union Minister Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani.
