- Every year there are certain events which has all public eyes waiting for them. The Cannes film festival is definitely one of them! It is one of the “Big Three” major European film festivals, alongside the Venice Film Festival in Italy and the Berlin International Film Festival in Germany. The 76th edition of this very event will be held from May 16 to 27, 2023.
This year the women amongst the world were all dolled up for the event including the Bollywood Queens! Let’s have a look at the carpet!
1) SARA ALI KHAN
She went out to give full Indian vibes in an Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla lehenga. Her hand-made ivory skirt was paired with a blouse embedded with stones and pearls. A long head veil, minimalist make up and a pair of earrings completed her look.
2) ESHA GUPTA
She was looking an angel at the red carpet by wearing Nicolas Jebran couture gown! She wore a pink high slit dress with flower designed collars which had everyone’s eye!
3) MANUSHI CHILLAR
The firmer Miss World donned a perfect dress for the occasion a snake like neck piece. Her dress was a corset with thun layers of netted fabric giving the princess vibes all along. With simple yet eyeball catching earrings, she was all gorgeous at the carpet!
Anushka Sharma is one of the major figures from Indian cinema who is making her Cannes debut this year. She will be honouring women in cinema along with Hollywood star Kate Winslet. Meanwhile, the ever-stunning Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a Cannes regular, left for the film festival on Tuesday. Madhur Bhandarkar, Mrunal Thakur, Aditi Rao Hydari, Vijay Varma, Vignesh Shivan, Niharika NM, Ruhee Dosani, Ranveer Allahbadia and Dolly Singh are attending the event as well.
