In Shahapur, a 30-year-old woman throws her boyfriend naked on the highway after robbing him of lakhs of rupees and assaulting him brutally with four more people mentioned by higher police officials on Monday. When this case came out, the police stated that five people have been booked for this following matter including the main accused.
The victim, named, Balaji Shivbhagat is known to be a businessman working in the construction industry, who lived in Shahapur. The victim was found to be in a relationship with the accused Bhoir for the past few years. A police official gave out a statement that two out of the five accused have been recognized and identified. The names of the accused are Bhavika Bhoir and Nadim Khan.
While taking statement the police official said, “On June 28, Bhoir called Shivbhagat at a location on Atgaon highway in Shahapur around 4.30pm. However, while the couple was talking, four of Bhoir’s associates appeared from nowhere and assaulted him till the next morning and dumped him on Shahapur highway without clothes in the early hours of the next morning.”
The victim, Shivbhagat was hospitalized for two days after been found naked and assaulted on the road. He is still recovering from injuries and trauma as said by police. He said in his statement that, “I did everything for her, built a small house as per her wish, shopped for her all the time. Her wish was my command. She betrayed me for another man and brutally assaulted me.” Bhoir asked him to meet her with gifts which included a sari, gold earrings, gold anklets and bangles, new monsoon shoes and an umbrella.
Shivbhagat added, “When I reached the spot with all these gifts, she sat inside my Creta car on Atgaon highway and took all the gifts. Suddenly four men, three of them unknown, entered the car, pushed me aside, and attacked my head with a chopper. One of them started driving the car,” reported by Hindustan Times.
The woman called Shivbhagat at an unknown restaurant and repeatedly assaulted him till the morning. The senior inspector of Shahapur police station, Rajkumar Upase said, “In his statement, the victim said that the accused clicked his video after his clothes were removed. They took away his two gold chains, seven finger rings, threw chilli powder in his eyes and fled around 5am.” He added, “We have launched a manhunt to trace the accused.”
The victim was abandoned on the road and nobody helped him out. He had to reach the police station himself and contacted his friends, who at the end got him admitted at the hospital. The victims who got caught, all five of them will be punished under IPC Sections 365, 506 with sections of the Prevention of Atrocities Act.
