After a four-year gap, BCCI is all set to revive the opening ceremony for IPL.
IPL 2023 has returned to the home-and-away format after a three-year gap. However, despite a home-and-away format in 2019, there was no opening ceremony to pay tributes to the martyrs of the Pulwama attacks.For the last three years, the opening ceremony did not take place due to Covid-19 restrictions. However, now that the restrictions are over and lives returned to normalcy, there will be an opening ceremony at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The first match of Tata IPL 2023 will be between Gujrat Titans Vs Chennai Superkings , match will take place at Narendra Modi Stadium , Ahmedabad on 31st March 2023.
