Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s opening day box office estimates are here. The film stars Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde in lead roles.
BY Anindita Mukherjee : Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan promotions started late but created a fair deal of buzz among fans. Starring multiple actors alongside Salman himself, the film turned out to be the actor’s yet another Eid release. Earlier brought to you that the film might mint around Rs 15 crore on its opening day. And the early estimates for KKBKKJ aren’t too different either.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan stars Salman Khan in the lead. The film happens to be his first major theatrical release after Dabangg 3. While the year started with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and saw a rather impressive figure, cinephiles have high
expectations from Salman’s Eid release.Early estimates of the film’s opening day are here and Box Office India report suggests that KKBKKJ has performed well mostly in a few mass pockets, but not in metro cities, except Hyderabad.
The film is being pulled by numbers in UP, Bihar, Rajasthan and Andhra and is expected to mint around Rs 14 crore nett. Early figures in Maharashtra and Gujarat don’t show promise, but if it supersedes expectations, the film could inch above Rs 15 crore nett too. While the actual figures are yet to arrive, it is important to note that KKBKKJ isn’t expected to beat the record of Salman’s previous Eid releases.
For instance, Dabangg 3 minted Rs 24.50 crore on its opening day. Race 3 earned Rs 28.50 crore. Bajrangi Bhaijaan earned Rs 27.25 crore and became one of the highest-grossing films of Salman’s career.
SALMAN CANCELS KISI KA BHAI KISI KI JAAN’S PREMIERE
Salman Khan has cancelled the premiere of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which was slated to hit screens on April 21. He took the decision owing to Pamela Chopra’s death. She was Yash Chopra’s wife and a noted playback singer. Salman has previously collaborated with Yash Raj Films for the Tiger film series. The third instalment is all set to open in theatres later this year.

Shehnaaz Gill plays a character named Sukoon in the biggie. It is produced by Salman Khan Films and promises to have all the elements that one expects of a Salman Khan film – action, comedy, drama, romance, and emotions. It will open in theatres on April 21.
