The biggest annual fashion extravaganza Met Gala took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 1, 2023. The night was dedicated to the late German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. The theme honors “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” which glorifies the work and life of Karl Lagerfeld.

Rapper Doja Cat never disappoints with her fashion looks and as this is her first Met, she decided to go all out. Adhering to the theme this year, Doja Cat appeared as Karl Lagerfeld’s white Burmese cat, Choupette. The body-hugging shimmering gown with hooded cat ears created a top-notch look for the night. Speaking about her look Doja Cat expressed, “This is Oscar de la Renta, and then my friend Molina did my Prosthetics. I got Sasha Livingston on the nails and I’m very excited and I love it.”
2. Lil Nas X
The American Rapper hit the red carpet covered in Swarovski crystals with silver painted all over his body. He too went with a cat-inspired look in a mask with silver pearls coated on his body paint. His neck was covered with jewels and his nails were perfectly done. The rapper paid homage to Karl Lagerfeld’s cat, Choupette.
3. Rihanna
Rihanna graced the carpet with A$AP Rocky donning a long white Valentino gown. She entered wearing a flower cape. After she removed her cape, a white bridal dress highlighted her baby bump. A$AP Rocky on the other hand went a little casual with his outfit for the night. He draped a Gucci suit jacket over his jeans. They were the most awaited couple to appear at the Met Gala.

Rapper Bad Bunny stole the show in a white backless suit with a chain of white roses wrapped around his elbows. The look was completed with a well-white tie and slicked back hairdo. The 29-year-old has won three Grammy awards, four Latin Grammy awards and was awarded the Artist of the Year at the Apple Music Awards in 2022.
5. Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner
The sisters made a breathtaking appearance. Kim Kardashian looked stylish in a corseted Schiaparelli gown draped in strands of pearls. Kylie wore a red Haider Ackermann gown. Meanwhile, Kendall wore a Marc Jacobs bodysuit creation. Her bodysuit was paired with black boots and the look was completed with a high ponytail.
6. Alia Bhatt
The Bollywood actress made her elegant debut at the Met Gala. The actress was all glammed up in a pearl-embellished gown designed by Prabal Gurung. A pearl bow-type hair accessory and sleeveless gloves made her look like the true epitome of beauty.
