The youngest MLA from the state of Maharashtra. Mr. Kshitij Thakur is an Indian politician, who is currently serving as a Member of Legislative Assembly from Bahujan Vikas Aghadi (BVA) representing Nalasopara constituency in the Maharashtra State Assembly.
MLA Kshitij Thakur initiated many programmes and worked a lot for the upliftment and progress for his constituency. To continue work for future progress of Vasai and Virar (Palghar ) MLA Kshitij Thakur met Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde for the Metro route from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust(JNPT) to Palghar.
Vasai and Virar are now only connected by a congested suburban railway line, which has long been demanded by locals to be replaced by a mass transit system. Young MLA Kshitij Thakur knew the importance of the metro for the development of Vasai-Virar locals. To solve the issues of local commuters Mr. Kshitij Thakur met Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Eknath Shindeji to request him for a meeting to discuss the possibility of a new #Metro route from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust(JNPT) to Palghar.
