Railway is major transportation system of India; majority of Indian population uses train to travel across the country. Majority of Indian population travel through train because its affordable and easy mode of transportation.
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Make in India campaign, many trains were started to be made in India. Soon, Prime Minister Modi started the development of India’s railway system by launching comfortable, affordable and made in India trains like Vande Bharat Express.
The first Vande Bharat express train was inaugurated on February 18, 2019, by the prime minister Narendra Modi. Delhi-Varanasi was the route of first Vande Bharat Express.
Later six other Vande Bharat Express routs were inaugurated by PM Modi.
However, Mumbaikars were desperately waiting for the launch of another Vande Bharat Express train Mumbai and now their wait is about to come to an end. Not one but two Vande Bharat Express trains will be launched in Mumbai.
The Vande Bharat Express train from Mumbai to Solapur (CSMT to Solapur) will run via Bhor Ghat for Six days a week, except on Wednesdays from Mumbai and on Thursdays from Solapur. The train is expected to Mumbai at 16:10 sharp and reach Solapur at 22:40. The halting destinations of this express will be Dadar, Thane, Lonavala and Kuruwadi.
The Vande Bharat Express from Mumbai to Shridi (CSMT to Shridi) will run via Thar Ghat for Six days a week, except on Tuesdays. It will depart from Mumbai’s Chhattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 6:15 am sharp and reach Shridi at 12:10 Pm. It will depart from Shridi at 17:25 pm and arrive at Mumbai at 23:18 pm. The halting destinations of this express will be Dadar, Thane and Nashik Road.
The travel time between two destinations will be cut down by one hour thirty minutes. Vande Bharat Express will be inaugurated by the prime minister Narendra Modi on February 10, 2023.
