The Amazon Prime Video’s hit ‘Citadel’ has successfully enthralled the viewers and in no time became the second most watched series in Amazon Prime’s history. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden starrer ‘Citadel’ has now been officially renewed for a second season.
The OTT giant announced that it has renewed the spy thriller for a second season on Thursday. It is said that Joe Russo will solely direct the second season. Citadel is trending all over social media platforms.

Priyanka Chopra posted an Instagram story covered in blood. “Ready to do this all over again… but for now watch the season finale episode on @primevideo,” reads the caption.
Head of Amazon and MGM Studios Jennifer Salke appreciated the members involved in making the spy thriller a hit. She said, “Its massive worldwide debut audience is a testament to Joe and Anthony Russo’s remarkable vision, the incredible talents of Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Lesley Manville and Stanley Tucci, and the tireless work of the creative teams, cast, and crew.”

The series revolves around the agents of the global spy agency Citadel who lost their memories after nearly dying during a mission. The agents must now remember their past as a new destructive threat has surfaced.
