Due to the revision of this water repair, 15% water cut will be applicable for the next 30 days from March 31, 2023.As a result, water harvesting process will be implemented in the cities and areas of Thane Municipal Corporation.Where water is available from BMC.In Thane municipal area, the water cut will be applicable to the following areas. Areas supplied with water from Gaondevi Jalakumbha – Naupada, Gokhale Road, Station Area, B Cabin, Ram Maruti Marg Right Side, Mahagiri, Kharkar Ali, Chennai, Khartan Road, Market Area. Hillside Bungalow Water supply area from Jalakumbha – Hillside Bungalow, Veer Savarkar Path, Sant Gajanan Maharaj Temple area, Pachadi khadi, Namdev Wadi, Bhakti Mandir Road, Service Road.
Kopri Kanhaiya Nagar and Dhobighat Water Supply Area – Kopri Village, Thanekar Wadi, Sindhi Colony, Sainath Nagar, Sainagar, Koliwada, CIDCO Entire Kopri (East), Anandnagar, Gandhinagar, Kanhe Wadi, Kedareshwar, Entire Thane East Area.
Direct Water Supply through Hazuri Connection – Louis Wadi, Kajuwadi, Hajuri Village, Raghunath Nagar, Jijamata Nagar, Sainath Nagar. Direct water supply through Kisannagar connection – Kisan Nagar 1, Kisan Nagar 2, Kisan Nagar 3, Shivajinagar, Padwa Nagar, Dsouza wadi. Direct water supply through Ambikanagar connection – Ambikanagar 2, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jaibhavani Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar.
However, the Thane Municipal Corporation has appealed to the citizens to use water properly and cooperate with the Thane Municipal Corporation during the water shortage period.
