Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’ is all ready for you to relive the 60’s. The team has dropped a buzzing teaser that flawlessly blends emotions, dance, and a lot of drama making it a jam-packed entertainment. The nostalgia is gonna hit differently as it is the Indian version of the iconic Archies Comic series.
The Archies team gave us a sneak peek of the impending movie by dropping the teaser during Netflix’s Tudum Event on Sunday. Fans couldn’t keep calm as it is one of the much-awaited Netflix films to be released later this year!
MEET THE STAR CAST
The Archies Gang welcomes you to the Rock n Roll world. The Musical Film is debuting a lot of star kids as newcomers. Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan as Veronica, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda as Archie Andrews and Sridevis’s daughter Khushi Kapoor as Betty, will be sharing the screen with Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda, Aditi Dot and Mihir Ahuja.

Netflix unveiled the looks and characters bringing the stories to life and the audience is absolutely loving it! The cast gave an astonishing performance in Brazil and grooved to their song.
Suhana rocked her look in mini brown apparel matching it with a printed shirt. Khushi donned a mesmerizing frock with tints of orange and white color and finished the look with a brown belt. Agastya’s look was completed with his printed T-shirt and curly hair.
Director Zoya Akhtar expressed her emotions, “I am super excited to have the chance to bring The Archies to life. It was a large part of my childhood and teenage years. The characters are iconic and globally loved, which is also why I am a little nervous.”
Akhtar said, “It is nothing short of awesome to be in São Paulo, showing the first look of The Archies at Tudum. There are local Brazilian fans and people from across the world virtually tuning in for the show. We are so far away from home and yet receiving the loudest cheers which just reminds us that music, love, and friendship are universal and have no barriers.

SYNOPSIS
