Alia Bhatt is on a winning streak as she is received many awards for her films. But this time it’s extra special coz she is honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Award for ‘Best Actress’ in the movie Gangubai Kathiawadi!
Alia Bhatt attended the award ceremony in a white embroidered saree, which she paired with minimal accessories and light makeup. Her pictures from the event have been going viral on social media. She also collected award on behalf of her husband Ranbir Kapoor as he won the ‘Best Actor’ for Brahmastra: Part 1 Shiva
Alia met veteran actress Rekha at this event. Rekha also received a special award for her ‘Outstanding Contribution In The Film Industry’. Rekha wore a golden saree and her hair was tied up in her signature bun with a gajra on top. As the two posed for the paparazzi, Rekha kissed on Alia’s cheeks. Alia was also clicked with gajras in her hand.
Other actors like Ronit Roy with Shreyas Talpade, directors Pushkar Gayatri, ‘Kantara’ actor Rishab Shetty were also spotted. Varun Dhawan also arrived and posed with Anupam Kher, who won Most Versatile Actor for The Kashmir Files.
