The first look of Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani has finally been released as a part of Karan Johar’s 25th-anniversary celebration. The movie is set to release on July 28th. Earlier, the film was going to release on April 28th.

On Thursday, the makers finally unveiled the first look of Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani. Rocky’s look is very jazzed up and funky whereas Rani has an elegant and classy presence. The title of the movie itself reflects this. “Rocky” is written in colourful letters while “Rani” is written in gold.

The cast of the movie includes esteemed actors like Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi in key roles. Dharmendra will be seen playing a flirtatious role towards Jaya’s and Shabana’s character. Jaya will be playing the role of Ranveer’s on-screen grandma and Shabana will be playing the role of Alia’s on-screen grandmother. Kshitee Jog, Tota Roy Choudhary, Anjali Anand, Aamir Bashir, and Churni Ganguly will be seen in supporting roles in the film.

In their recent post, the makers gave a glimpse of Rocky’s and Rani’s family as the Randhawa’s and the Chatterjee’s respectively.

Karan Johar sat in the director’s chair after 7 years for this movie (His last movie as a director was Aey Dil Hai Mushkil).
