Subhash Chandra Bose
These golden words well elaborate about the struggle and sacrifice by the unforgettable fighter of Indian National movement Subhash Chandra Bose, who affectionately known as Netaji. He left the gigantic impression on Indian history of freedom movement and civilisation. Netaji was born on January 23, 1897 in Cuttack, Odisha to Prabhavati Dutt Bose and Janakinath Bose .In the year 2022, the whole nation celebrated 125TH birth anniversary of Netaji Subaash Chandra Bose.The day was celebrated as Parakram Diwas .Netaji was impressively influenced by the philosophies of Swami Vivekananda and Praramhansa Dev during his academic years in Calcultta (now Kolkatta) .
Subhash Chandra Bose immensely influenced by Mahatama Gandhi and motivated him to join Indian National Congress (IMC). He started the newspaper Swaraj and in the year 1923, he became the President of the All India Youth Congress. Subash Chandra Bose elected as President twice after this at the Haripura session of IMC and Tripuri session in 1938 and 1939 respectively.Netaji also edited the newspaper called Forward started by his political mentor Chittaranjan Das. Bose also emphasized that complete independence was a requisite for nation at that time. He enthusiastically participated in the Salt Satyagraha (1930) and strongly raised his voice against the suspension of Civil Disobedience Movement (1930). In 1939, due to the ideological variances, Bose started his own party, the Forward Bloc.Subash Chandra Bose didn’t delimit his ambition for complete Indian independence and constituted the Azad Hind Government in 1943 during his visit to Singapore with the slogan Delhi Chalo and also led the Indian National Army (INA) on 21st October 1943aganst the British army. The INA was popular with the name of the Azad Hind Fauj.
On 18th August 1945, it is believed that Subhash Chandra Bose died in the plane crash in Taiwan. Contemporary India remembers Netaji Subaash Chandra Bose as a true leader and an unforgettable freedom fighter.
