22nd April, 2023, Saturday was the day that marks the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya and a promising step was taken for the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation(MBMC) where Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated various development works for the advancement of the local area.
Along with Shri Devendra Fadnavis, the occasion was graced by MLA Geetaji Jain, MLA Rajhans Singhji, former MLA Narendra Mehta, Dr. Vinay Sahasrabudheji and organizer Amarjit Mishra. The Mira Bhayandar locals were present to witness the Bhumi Pujan as well.

- Veterinary hospital in Bhayandar
- Urdu medium school in Mira Gaon
- Control center to moniter CCTV cameras
- Sant Ravidas Maharaj garden in Kashimira
Shri Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated Mira Bhayandar’s first veterinary fully furnished hospital constructed by the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation(MBMC) which promises various facilities. The locals were ensured that they would find medical treatment for animals so they could keep their pets healthy and safe.
While assuring about the full support from the government so that the locals don’t have to visit Mumbai for treatment, Fadnavis said, “Unlike, in the erstwhile state government which red flagged crucial projects, our government is committed and focussed on accelerating the development of the twin-city, which is witnessing a rapid rise in population every year.”
It is also said that they have started taking action for the betterment of Mira Bhayandar for the next 25-30 years. The water issues faced by the locals will be taken care and the water will soon be supplied 24/7.
He has also assured that the viaduct of the metro work will be completed by the end of this year. In a meeting with Chief Minister Eknathji Shinde, it was decided to take the metro to Uttan as well. In short, they will connect the entire Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation(MBMC). The metro work will move at a fast rate.
Their main motive is to develop Mira Bhayandar as a focal point after Mumbai. Their plans and methods will lead Mira Bhayandar to stand strong on its ground.
