Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India is one of the most popular leaders in the world, with an approval rating of 78%. This is according to a survey conducted by the US-based consulting firm, Morning Consult.
“The latest approval ratings are based on data collected from January 26-31, 2023. Approval ratings are based on a seven-day moving average of adult residents in each country, with sample sizes varying by country,” said the official website.
The survey polled 22 global leaders for their approval ratings and Modi received the highest rating of 78%, surpassing US President Joe Biden, who stood at number seven on the list. The 72-year-old has a following of 86.3 million on Twitter. More than 47 million people have liked his official Facebook page.
